The Cowgirls got off to a slow start when they lost all of their doubles matches, but were able to win five out of six singles duels to win their fourth straight of the season.
At the No. 1 doubles position, No. 6 ranked Linda Faltynkova and Katya Kolodynska lost a close match to Dominique Lemperle and Lia Dimingo, 8-6.
Seniors Erin Pauchnik and Gorana Marsic were dropped in the No. 2 doubles slot, 8-4, by the team of Morgan Sall and Kendra Strandemo.
Rounding out doubles play, Kate Vasylyeva and Ewa Radzikowska were defeated by Sarah Burrows and Jessica Vanderdys, 8-4.
OSU's luck would turn around as soon as singles play began.
Faltynkova started the scoring for the Cowgirls by notching a 7-6, 7-6 win over Lemperle at the No. 1 singles position.
At the No. 2 position, Vasylyeva came from behind to defeat Katherine Anne Lutgert, (3-6) 6-2, 6-2.
Continuing the trend for the Cowgirls, Kolodynska defeated Dimingo in straight sets, 7-5, 6-1 at the No. 3 position.
Ewa Radzikowska followed suit by holding on to an early lead to defeat Vanderdys, 6-1, (5-7), 6-3.
The lone singles win for the Buffaloes came when Strandemo defeated Zana Masnic at the No. 5 slot, 6-2, 6-1.
Finishing off the evening for OSU, sophomore Ines Furtmayr defeated Sall at the No. 6 position, 6-3, 6-2, giving the Cowgirls the 5-2 overall win.
The win against Colorado moved the Cowgirls to 4-0 overall, and 1-0 in Big 12 action on the young season.
Oklahoma State returns to competition on Monday when they take on the Lady Cougars of Brigham Young University at the BYU Indoor and Outdoor Tennis Facilities in Provo, Utah at 11:00 a.m.
