Cowgirl Tennis Drops Match to Brigham Young

STILLWATER, Okla. Â The Oklahoma State women's tennis team fell to Brigham Young 6-1 on Saturday at the DeBois Tennis Complex.
The Cowgirls fell to 6-5 in their last nonconference match of the season.
BYU improved to 7-5 and completed a three-match sweep of Big 12 opponents. The Cougars downed Kansas State on Thursday and Kansas on Friday.
OSU got its only win at No. 5 singles with Iryna Khatsko beating Romina Nedakovic 6-1, 6-3.
“I told the girls we could only beat them if we played a good match,” OSU coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski said.
The Cowgirls will be back on the court March 13 to open Big 12 conference play against Missouri. It is the start of the a four-match road trip to begin conference play.
