TULSA, Okla. – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team began its busy day in Tulsa Friday with a 6-0 dismantling of Oral Roberts at the Case Tennis Center.
The Cowgirls, who take on No. 22 Tulsa later today, only needed singles play to earn the decisive victory over the Golden Eagles, as OSU claimed straight set victories at all six positions.
At the Nos. 1-6 spots, respectively, Nataliya Shatkovskaya, Sasha Belova, C.C. Sardinha, Sarah Meghoufel, Malika Rose and Leyla Simmons outscored their opponents by a combined score of 73-18.
The Cowgirls, now 3-6 in 2011, resume play at 5 p.m. against the Golden Hurricane at the Case Tennis Center.
