Eighteen Cowgirls Named to NCEA Academic Honor Roll

STILLWATER – Eighteen Cowgirls were named to the National Collegiate Equestrian Association's Academic Honor Roll. Three were named to the NCEA Academic First Team, four were named named to the NCEA Academic Second Team, and five were named to the NCEA Academic Honorable Mention.

The following criteria should be followed: (1) NCEA Academic First Team – nominated student-athletes must have competed in a minimum of 70% of their schools' meets, not including demonstration or exhibition rides, and the nominated student-athletes must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous Spring and Fall semesters, respectively. (2) NCEA Academic Second Team – nominated student-athletes must have competed in a minimum of 60% of their schools' meets, not including demonstration or exhibition rides, and the nominated-student athletes must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous Spring and Fall semesters, respectively. (3) NCEA Academic Honorable Mention – nominated student-athletes must have competed in a minimum of 50% of their schools' meets, not including demonstration or exhibition rides, and the nominated student athletes must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.00 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous Spring and Fall semesters, respectively. (4) NCEA Academic Honor Roll – nominated student-athletes must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous Spring and Fall semesters, respectively.
