Cowgirls Fall To No. 3 Texas A&M

College Station, Tex. – Fifth-ranked Oklahoma State Equestrian was narrowly defeated by No. 3 Texas A&M, 12-8 on Saturday.
All-American Jorden Davis was on point for the Cowgirls (6-4, 5-1 Big 12) today, earning points in both Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences, defeating Isabella Norton (75-67) and Alex Desiderio (78-50), respectively.
Maggie Drysch was also victorious in Flat competition, besting A&M's Marlena Parker, 77-69.
In Fences, Carly Barrick continued her successful sophomore campaign by defeating Rebekah Chenelle 81-79 and taking home Most Outstanding Performer honors.
In Western competition, Ty Paris shined for Oklahoma State, posting a season-high score of 76.5 in her victory over Kaci Fisher (75) in Horsemanship. Paris improved her record to 6-4 on the season.
Paris earned MOP honors in Horsemanship for the first time in her career.
Libby Collins also emerged victorious for OSU, topping A&M's Logan Pluhar, 75-74.5 and boosting her record to 7-3 in the event this season.
In Reining, Danielle Cohen picked up a win over Ashley Dotson 66.5-66.
All-American Justine Peters improved to 6-4 on the season with a 68-66.5 triumph over Madison Bohman.
The Cowgirls are back in action on March 11 for Senior Day at Totusek Arena against No. 1 Auburn.
