June 02, 2026 | Cowgirl Golf
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State junior Marta Silchenko has been named a second team All-American, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
This marks the first All-America selection of Silchenko's career. A junior from Riga, Latvia, Silchenko is the 49th All-American in program history.
The recognition is just the latest addition to Silchenko's impressive 2025-26 resume, joining her first team All-Big 12 selection, Big 12 Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year award, and All-Tournament Team honors at both the Big 12 Championship and the NCAA Championship.
After guiding Oklahoma State to match play at the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2021, Silchenko ended the season at No. 16 in the Scoreboard by Clipp'd official NCAA individual rankings, breaking into the top 20 for the first time in her career.
Additionally, Silchenko stamped her name several times in the Oklahoma State record books:
This season, Silchenko captured the first two individual titles of her career, earning co-medalist honors at the Huntington Bank Collegiate (Apr. 6-7) and the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional (May 11-13). Her 13-under 203 total at the Huntington Bank Collegiate marked the ninth-lowest 54-hole score in program history, while her 6-under 204 at the Chapel Hill Regional is the 11th-lowest.
Silchenko also led the Cowgirls to three team wins, finishing as OSU's highest individual in two of them (T-1 at Huntington Bank Collegiate, T-2 at UNF Collegiate).
The standout rising senior will return to headline the Oklahoma State lineup once again in 2026-27, when she'll look to punctuate one of the greatest Cowgirl careers of all time.
25 conference titles. 32 NCAA Championship appearances. 49 All-Americans. For the latest news and updates on Oklahoma State Women's Golf, visit okstate.com or follow @CowgirlGolf on Instagram/Facebook and @OSUCowgirlGolf on X.
