Cowgirl Golf releases 2026-27 schedule

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's golf head coach Annie Young unveiled the team's upcoming schedule on Monday, with trips booked to 14 tournaments across seven states.
The Cowgirls return to the course after a successful 2025-26 campaign, highlighted by three wins and six top-3 finishes. The Pokes also produced their best NCAA Championship run since 2021, finishing sixth in stroke play and punching their ticket to match play for the first time in five seasons.
In her second year back at the helm in Stillwater, Young will return her entire starting lineup. Leading the charge are seniors Marta Silchenko, a second-team All-American and two-time individual medalist in 2026, and Ellie Bushnell, who earned the first All-Big 12 nod of her career in May. Rising juniors Summer Lee, Tarapath Panya and Lucy Darr provide a combined 172 rounds of collegiate golf experience, while now sophomore Yu-Chu Chen returns following a stellar freshman season. Incoming Tarleton State transfer Louise Depadt rounds out the Oklahoma State lineup after earning back-to-back WAC Golfer of the Year honors in 2025 and 2026.
OSU begins its season with a trip to the Folds of Honor Collegiate from September 7-9. Hosted by the American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan, OSU joins three fellow top-25-ranked teams in the field: Texas A&M (6), Duke (9) and Florida State (24).
The Cowgirls will then make the short trip south to Norman for the Schooner Fall Classic from September 19-21, where they'll look to capture their fifth all-time win at the event. Oklahoma State is the tournament's reigning champion after going 18-under last September and placing three individuals in the top 10.
Kicking October's action off is Mississippi State's annual fall tournament, "The Ally", from October 5-7. The event is held at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, and welcomed five of the SEC's highest-ranked teams (Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt) in 2025.
The Fin (October 19-21) will be the team's penultimate event of the fall. Hosted by Freestone Lake & Golf Club in Fairfield, Texas, the tournament pairs one of the state's most luxurious courses with an elite field. The club sits upon 5,000 acres of land in the heart of Texas, encompasses the largest privately-owned lake in the United States and is accessible only by boat.
OSU finishes the fall slate in Atlanta for the East Lake Cup from October 26-28. The Cowgirls join a high-powered four-team field, as each program set to play in the event (Arkansas, Eastern Michigan, Oklahoma State, USC) made match play at the NCAA Championship in May.
The Therese Hession Challenge (January 31-February 2) serves as the Cowgirls' spring season opener. The tournament, entering its 31st iteration, is hosted by Ohio State at Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes, California.
Following are two straight tournaments in Texas, with the Houston Invitational (February 8) and the Chevron Collegiate (February 22-23).
Oklahoma State then makes its return to two repeat tournaments from last season, beginning with the Lady Luck Invitational in Las Vegas from March 1-2. The Cowgirls placed fifth at the event earlier this spring, securing their sixth of nine total top-5 finishes in 2025-26. A return to the storied Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, for the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate comes next (March 22-23), where OSU placed seventh last season.
The team will make its fifth and final trip to Texas two weeks later for the "Mo"Morial Tournament from April 5-6. Hosted annually by Texas A&M at the Traditions Club in College Station, the 2027 season marks its 23rd iteration.
Postseason play begins with the Big 12 Championship, which is set for April 21-23 at the Las Vegas Country Club. OSU will set out for its 26th conference title after enjoying a fourth-place finish at last year's championship, with three Cowgirls (Ellie Bushnell, Marta Silchenko, Summer Lee) earning All-Tournament Team selections.
The NCAA Regionals (May 10-12) and NCAA Championship (May 21-26) conclude the season, where OSU looks to capture its seventh consecutive trip to the national championship.
