Bushnell shoots third-lowest score in Cowgirl Golf history at Schooner Fall Classic

Norman, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Ellie Bushnell shot a 5-under, 65, tying her personal best and matching the third lowest round in program history on the opening day of the Schooner Fall Classic.
The Cowgirls (-3, 277) finished the day in a tie for fifth place in the team standings, seven strokes behind first-place TCU.
Bushnell played 18 holes of bogey-free golf, posting five birdies, to grab a share of the lead alongside Florida State's Haruhi Nakatani.
The 65 matched her second-round score from last year's Schooner Fall Classic. It was her 40th career round of par-or-better, trying Maria Boden for 10th-most all time.
Louise Depadt shot a 68 (-2) and now sits three birdies away from 200 for her career.
Tarapath Panya and Summer Lee both finished at 72 (+2), one shot ahead of Lucy Darr.
The Cowgirls will return to the course at 8 a.m. Sunday for the second of three rounds.
