Cowgirls finished sixth at Schooner Fall Classic

Norman, Okla. — Three Oklahoma State women's golfers finished in the red on the final day of the Schooner Fall Classic, helping the Cowgirls secure sixth place at Belmar Golf Club.
The Cowgirls finished under par in all three rounds, shooting 1-under, 279 on Monday and 6-under, 834 for the tournament.
OSU led the 16-team field in Par 5 scoring average (4.73), finishing a combined 12-under over three days.
Tarapath Panya (-2, 208) posted her second straight round of 68 to finish in a tie for 22nd place individually.
Lucy Darr (+3, 213) and Summer Lee (+4, 214) each closed with 69s to tie for 39th and 43rd respectively.
After matching the third-lowest score in program history on Saturday (65), Ellie Bushnell finished the weekend 1-under par and tied for 24th. The senior is just one birdie away from tying head coach Annie Young for sixth on OSU's all-time list (327).
Louise Depadt shot a 74 to finish the weekend at an even 210. She birdied 11 of the 54 holes to match Lee for the team lead.
The Cowgirls will take next weekend off before returning to action Oct. 5-7 at The Ally in West Point, Miss.
