Cowgirl Golf in eighth place heading into final round

Grand Haven, Mich.— Oklahoma State's Tarapath Panya and Louise Depadt both finished in the red during second-round action Tuesday at the Folds of Honor Collegiate.
The Cowgirls posted an eight-stroke improvement over Monday's opening round, firing a 291 to climb to eighth place in the team standings with 18 holes to play.
Panya and Depadt both shot 71s (-1) while combining for six of the eight Cowgirl birdies.
Summer Lee carded a 74(+2) to bring her 36-hole total to 147(+3) strokes.
Marta Silchenko now sits at 148(+4) strokes after shooting a 3-over 75 today.
Ellie Bushnell finished at seven strokes over par for the second day in a row.
The Cowgirls return to American Dunes Golf Club Wednesday for the final round at 6:30 a.m.
