Kurt Budke
Head Coach
Kurt Budke was in his seventh season at OSU and had an all-time record of 112-83. Budke transformed a program that had a winless conference season in 2005-06 into a NCAA Sweet 16 participant just two years later. The Salina, KS native had a 465-130 record as a head coach. Budke is survived by his wife Shelley and three children: Sara, Alex and Brett.
Miranda Serna
Assistant Coach
Miranda Serna was in her seventh season as assistant coach for the Cowgirl Basketball team. A native of Guadalupita, NM, Serna was known as a tireless worker and an outstanding recruiter. She played basketball for Central Arizona College, Trinity Valley Community College and the University of Houston. She is survived by her parents and a sister.
Olin and Paula Branstetter
Olin and Paula Branstetter were long-time supporters of Oklahoma State University and provided an annual aviation scholarship. The couple met at OSU and were married on June 8, 1952. A successful businessman in Ponca City, Olin served in the Oklahoma State Senate from 1986-1990. They are survived by three sons and four grandchildren.
