Alannah Yeats joined the Oklahoma State men's basketball program in June, 2024 as its Director of Basketball Operations.
Yeats (pronounced “Yates”) was a key member of Lutz’s support staffs at both Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Western Kentucky and now plays an integral role in the day-to-day operations at OSU with a wide range of responsibilities tied to team travel, equipment, scheduling, and other logistics.
In her first season in Stillwater, the Cowboys improved by five wins and more than 30 spots in the NCAA NET rankings and reached the quarterfinals of the NIT.
"Alannah is organized, intelligent, and always ready to tackle any task, no matter how difficult,” Lutz said. “She’s a team player with high character and excellent communication skills who will help Cowboy Basketball run at peak efficiency. I’m happy that she’s decided to join us in Stillwater.”
Yeats played a valuable behind the scenes role during the 2023-24 season at Western Kentucky, helping the Hilltoppers to 22 wins, the Conference USA tournament title and the program’s first NCAA tournament bid since 2013.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi enjoyed similar success during Yeats’ time on staff with back-to-back appearances in the Big Dance. The Islanders won the Southland Conference tournament in 2022 and swept the league’s regular season and tournament crowns a year later.
The Houston native served as the Islanders’ head manager from 2020-23, assisting the coaching and equipment staff with day-to-day scheduling and other special projects, including recruiting visits, summer camps, travel and even social media.
