Jason Lewis arrived at OSU in 2003 and serves as the Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director/CFO. He oversees the business and financial operations of the department as well as human resources, contracts, information technology, video and equipment. Jason is also the Secretary/Treasurer for Cowboy Athletics, Inc. This 501(c)3 is the parent company for OSU Cowboy Golf, OSU Cowboy Dining and OSU Cowboy Facilities. He is sport administrator of women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis.
Prior to joining OSU, Jason worked at Indiana University, United State Naval Academy, New Mexico State University, Arkansas State University, St. Mary’s College of California, American Healthcare Systems and General Dynamics. At Indiana, Jason served as the athletic department’s Executive Associate Athletics Director/CFO. He oversaw finance, human resources, facilities, information technology and the university golf course. Jason also served as the sport administrator for men’s basketball, baseball and softball.
At the Naval Academy, Jason served as the Associate Athletics Director/Treasure for the Naval Academy Athletics Association. He oversaw business office, human resources, information technology and equipment. In addition, Jason directed the Naval Academy Visitor Center and the Naval Academy Golf Course.
Prior to arriving at Navy, Jason spent time as the Associate Athletics Director/Internal Affairs at New Mexico State and Assistant Athletics Director/Internal Affairs at Arkansas State University. While at St. Mary’s College in California, he was the head coach for women’s tennis and an athletic assistant for Business and Marketing.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He was a three year letterwinner on the tennis team. Jason went on and earned a master’s in business administration from San Diego State University and a master’s in sports administration and facility management from Ohio University.
Jason is an Eau Claire, Wisconsin native and is married to Mary Barbara. The couple has two daughters, Katie and Sarah.
