Robert Allen, a 1982 OSU graduate, joined the Cowboy Radio Network in 2002 as the sideline reporter for Cowboy football. He has also filled in on other broadcasts for Cowboy Sports Properties. The 40-plus year veteran of television, radio, and print coverage of sports in Oklahoma and, especially Oklahoma State, has written two books on Oklahoma State athletics, More Than A Championship, with Mike Gundy after the 2011 Big 12 Championship in football and 100 Things Oklahoma State Fans Need to Know or Do Before They Die. Allen is a former walk-on at Oklahoma State and his son also played football at Oklahoma State for Gundy. His wife and daughter are also graduates of Oklahoma State.
