Tia Harring currently serves as Oklahoma State University’s Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Leadership & Professional Development. She is also the advisor for SAAC, the Student - Athlete Advisory Committee and the Deputy Sport Administrator for Cowgirl Basketball.
Harring joined OSU Athletics in August 2007 as the department’s game day marketing coordinator, producing in-game promotional elements for Football, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Basketball, Softball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, and Cross Country. She later advanced to Assistant A.D. of Marketing & Fan Engagement, a role she held for 14 years, leading the department’s strategic initiatives before transitioning into Student-Athlete Development.
As an OSU student, Harring gained extensive, hands-on experience, working as a manager for the Cowgirl Basketball program for three years while also contributing to football recruiting and serving as a game day marketing intern. She earned her B.S. in Journalism and Broadcasting with an emphasis in Public Relations from OSU in 2004.
Following graduation, she completed internships with the Oklahoma City All Sports Association and the Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas, serving as an operations intern. A native of Oklahoma City, Harring is married to Charles “Chico” Harring, and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Tauriel and Janon.
