Cowgirls Drop Show at No. 3 Texas A&M

The Oklahoma State Equestrian team dropped its second show of the year to Texas A&M Saturday in College Station.
OSU dropped the show to the third-ranked Aggies, 16-7, as the Cowgirls dropped into third place in the Big 12 Conference standings. OSU is 6-4 on the season and 3-3 in the Big 12, with TAMU the lone conference team the Cowgirls have not beaten this season. Texas A&M clinched second place in the conference with Saturday's win.
The Cowgirls dropped the English portion of the competition, 7-4. In the equitation on the flat discipline, senior Charlotte Collingsworth and junior Ally Blais captured victories. Collingsworth and Blais have each posted eight wins on the year. Blais also earned the Cowgirls' lone MVP on the day.
Oklahoma State lost the equitation over fences discipline, 4-2, with sophomore Alice White and freshman Taryn Nolte both capturing head-to-head wins. This is victory number five for White this season.
In the Western competition, the Cowgirls earned three victories on the day. Senior Jordan Pickelman and sophomore Margaux Tucker both won head-to-head in horsemanship while senior Jacque Roberts captured a win in the reining discipline. Pickelman has now won eight head-to-head matchups this season.
The Cowgirls will be back in action Sunday when the team takes on TCU at 10 a.m. in Mansfield, Texas.
