Vines Through Three Rounds At NCAAs

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Oklahoma State's Kelsey Vines signed for an 81 during her third round at the NCAA Championship on Thursday to finish the day in 114th place at Vanderbilt's Legends Club.
Starting on the back nine, Vines opened with a birdie at the 10th before stringing together four pars in a row. The Cowgirl junior tallied the lone bogey of her outward nine at the 15th before turning at even-par 36. The Big 12 Player of the Year carded her second birdie of the day at the third hole before closing with six-straight bogeys to finish at 9-over for the day.
Through 54 holes, Vines stands at 20-over 236. The individual lead stands at 4-under 212 and is held by Oklahoma's Chirapat Jao-Javanil and Arizona State's Giulia Molinaro.
Vines will begin her final round tomorrow at 12:48 p.m. (CST) and will be grouped with Margarita Ramos of Arizona and Maria Salinas of Florida State.
