Willoughby Stays Unbeaten, But Cowgirls Fall To Auburn

AUBURN, Alabama – Despite another victory for Senior Erin Willoughby, Oklahoma State Equestrian fell to No. 2 Auburn, 14-5 on Saturday.
Willoughby defeated Auburn's Alexa Rivard, 69.5-69 to improve her record to a perfect 4-0 on the season.
The Cowgirls tied the Tigers 2-2 in Reining. Julia Purus performed well for OSU, picking up her second victory in as many days, knocking off Auburn's Allie Dusha, 69.5-68.
Danielle Cohen, competing in her first event of the season, tied Betsy Brown 67-67.
2015 All-American Amy White had an impressive day for the Cowgirls, with an 84-55 Equitation over Fences victory over Auburn's Megan Bifano and a 70-56 win over Hayley Iannotti in Equitation on the Flat.
White's score of 84 was a meet-high for the Cowgirls.
Oklahoma State would fall to the Tigers 1-4 in both Hunterseat events.
Ty Paris defeated Auburn's Sarah Miller by a score 75.5-73.5, but would go on to be the lone Cowgirl victory in Horsemanship.
The Cowgirls return to action on October 31 for a home meet against Baylor.
