Cowboy Tennis Completes Third Sweep of Season

STILLWATER- Oklahoma State's men's tennis team defeated Omaha, 7-0, on Friday at the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center.
The victory gave the No. 10 Cowboys (10-3 overall, 0-0 Big 12) their third sweep of the season and their first sweep since Jan. 14 against Bryant.
"I thought everyone played pretty well," coach Jay Udwadia said. "Last weekend we took a couple losses against some very good teams so it's nice to be back on track at home and get a win."

Julian Cash partnered with Artur Dubinski, and their match was unfinished. This was the first match all season that Cash was not paired with Hammond in doubles play.
"It was nice to see some different combinations to see what we are working with in the future," Udwadia said.
The Cowboys started singles play off with two strong wins from freshmen Hammond and Brady Draheim. Each won in straight sets—Hammond winning, 6-1, 6-1, and Draheim, 6-0, 6-1.
Draheim improved to 4-0 in singles play on the season.
"No matter what I'm playing (singles or doubles) I like to be on the court competing," Draheim said. "Being able to compete in singles and win is motivating."
Minutes later, No. 84 Artur Dubinski defeated Omaha's Razvan Grigorescu, 6-2, 6-2, to officially claim the victoryfor Oklahoma State, 4-0.

The match ended when Mathieu Scaglia rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the second set, and defeated Omaha's Abdoul Ouattara, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.
The Cowboys are back in action Sunday, when they will take on SMU at 1 p.m., and Oral Roberts at 6 p.m., inside the Greenwood Tennis Center.
