FORT WORTH, Texas – In the second Big 12 match of the season, Oklahoma State men's tennis fell to No. 3 TCU on Sunday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.Â

With the loss, No. 34 OSU moved to 12-8 on the season.Â

Due to forecasted weather, the match began with singles play. TCU was first on the board when No. 43 Sander Jong knocked off Alex Garcia, 6-2, 6-4. TCU's No. 21 Jake Fearnley dropped No. 90 Tyler Zink, 6-3, 6-2, increasing the Horned Frogs lead to 2-0.Â
Next to clinch was TCU's court five player, No. 71 Sebastian Gorzny, defeating Francisco Pini, 7-5, 6-3. The deciding match was on court six, when Pedro Vives bested OSU's Alessio Basile in a second-set tie breaker, 6-2, 7-6(2).
The Cowboys return to action at home on Thursday in the Phillips 66 Bedlam Series at 6 p.m. (CST).Â
