Cowboys’ Run Ends In Second Round of NCAA Tournament

TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team fell to No. 15 Arizona, 4-0, in the second round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
With the loss, the 44th-ranked Cowboys capped the season with a 14-14 mark.
Starting with doubles, Arizona's court two duo, Herman Hoeyeraal and Colton Smith, defeated Alex Garcia and Isaac Becroft, 6-2, to take the advantage. The Wildcats solidified the doubles point on court three when Eric Padgham and Gustaf Strom bested Alessio Basile and Carl Roothman, 6-3.
Moving into singles action, Arizona grew its lead when No. 55 Smith beat Tyler Zink, 6-1, 6-3, on court one.
Arizona's No. 40 Jonas Ziverts dropped No. 94 Isaac Becroft, 6-1, 6-3, giving the Wildcats a commanding 3-0 lead.
OSU's Chase Ferguson fell to Hoeyeraal, 5-7, 6-1, 6-4, clinching the match for the Wildcats.
