The Basics
The No. 4 Oklahoma State equestrian team hosts Big 12 rival Baylor on Friday at the Pedigo-Hull Equestrian Center as the Cowgirls look to win their first Big 12 meet. OSU leads the series against Baylor, 37-13, with a perfect 20-0 home record against the Bears. The Cowgirls have won the last 13 matchups.
About the Cowgirls
Head coach Larry Sanchez, in his 26th year at the helm, leads the Cowgirls alongside sixth-year assistant Laura Brainard, third-year assistant Carter Anderson, second-year assistant Alle Durkin and consultant Jody Brainard.
Conference Leaders
The Cowgirls went 4-2 against Big 12 opponents last season, including two wins on their way to the program's first ever conference championship four-peat, something no team in the Big 12 had previously accomplished.
An Oklahoma State Win Would...
- Improve its home record against Baylor to 21-0
- be its 14th-straight win over Baylor
- be its 38th win over the Bears, the most wins out of any team in the NCEA for the Cowgirls
- be its first conference win this season
- be its third-straight win this season
Cowgirl MOPs
