Cowgirl Track & Field wrap up season at NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Oklahoma State Track & Field concluded the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Saturday, with Annie Molenhouse and Isca Chelangat finishing their impressive seasons with second team All-America honors.
Molenhouse capped her NCAA Championship debut with a 12th-place finish in the heptathlon, scoring 5,669 points across the seven events. She opened the competition with a personal best of 13.94 in the 100-meter hurdles and followed that with consistent marks in the high jump (1.66m), shot put (12.32m), and a quick 200 meters (24.13). On the final day of competition, she added a long jump mark of 5.38m, a javelin throw of 41.25m and closed with a 2:16.63 in the 800 meters.
In the women's 5,000 Meters, Chelangat finished 15th overall with a time of 15:48.66 to close out the Cowgirls' competition at Hayward Field.
The Cowgirls ended the meet with five points with Emma Robbins' fourth-place finish in the Hammer Throw on Thursday, placing 46th in the team standings. Meanwhile, the Cowboys earned 19 points to finish 11th, their highest placement at the NCAA Outdoor Championships since 1984.
