Cowgirl Golf places 10th at Thunderbird Intercollegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma State's women's golf team wrapped up competition at the Thunderbird Intercollegiate on Tuesday, closing in 10th place.
The Cowgirls carded a third-round 311 to finish with a 920 total, 56-over-par. Oklahoma State finished 72 strokes behind first-place Stanford.
Sophomore Lucy Darr led the Pokes on the leaderboard, posting a 3-over 75 to finish in 31st at 11 strokes over par. Darr's 37 total pars tied for the fifth-most among the tournament's 80-player field.
Fellow sophomore Summer Lee added a third-round 80. The Texan turned in a 73-77-80—230 (+14) effort to tie for 40th.
Ellie Bushnell and Tarapath Panya each concluded their competition at 18-over. Bushnell's week was highlighted by a second-round 75 (+3), while Panya's best round was her opening 76 (+4).
Grace Kilcrease ended the event at 24 strokes over par.
The Cowgirls return to action in two weeks at the UNF Collegiate in Jacksonville, Florida.
