The Basics
No. 27 Oklahoma State returns home to face No. 53 Kansas State on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT at the Greenwood Tennis Center. The Cowgirls are coming off their first conference loss to Colorado. OSU is now 6-5 on the season and 3-1 in the Big 12.

Oklahoma State appeared at No. 27 in this week's ITA team rankings and is one of 13 Big 12 teams to be ranked. Arizona State (13), TCU (19), UCF (20), Texas Tech (30), Arizona (34), Houston (36), Utah (42), Baylor (44), BYU (45), Colorado (51), Kansas State (53) and Kansas (63) were the other Big 12 teams to make appearances this week. In the individual singles rankings, Rose Marie Nijkamp climbed to No. 22, while Lucia Peyre checked in at No. 51 and Olivia Lincer made an appearance at No. 53. In the doubles poll, Nijkamp and Anastasiya Komar rose to No. 20.
The Matchup
Oklahoma State is 48-6 all-time against Kansas State and carries a 15-match win streak into Saturday's contest. The Cowgirls are 21-1 against the Wildcats in Stillwater, including wins in each of the last five. The Cowgirls lone home loss to the Wildcats came in 2011.
History in 2024
Oklahoma State women's tennis is coming off a historic campaign in 2025, staking claim to its first Super Regional win since 2017, second-consecutive Big 12 regular season title and third Regional Championship in the last four NCAA tournaments. The Cowgirls won 12 consecutive matches during the season and made their 13th consecutive appearance the NCAA Tournament. Anastasiya Komar and Rose Marie Nijkamp were named ITA All-Americans in doubles after finishing the season top 10 nationally. Nijkamp became the third player in program history to be named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, she was also selected to the All-Big 12 First Team in both singles and doubles along with the All-Big 12 Freshman Team. Komar joined Nijkamp on both All-Big 12 First Teams in singles and doubles.
The NCAA Tournament Streak
With a trip to the Elite Eight last season, Oklahoma State made its 13th straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. During that time, the Cowgirls have reached six Sweet 16's, three Elite 8's and one NCAA final in 2016.
New Faces
Oklahoma State added Karolina Lincer to its 2026 spring roster last weekend. Lincer had previously signed with OSU and was scheduled to enroll in fall of 2026 but reclassified to join the Cowgirls this spring. She joins her older sister and reigning Big 12 Player of the Year, Olivia Lincer. Olivia holds records of 7-2 in singles and 7-1 in doubles to this point. Olivia joined the Cowgirls through the transfer portal after two years at UCF. Freshman Luca Udvardy has been a standout for Oklahoma State this season, posting records of 6-1 in singles and 8-0 in doubles. The freshman from Hungary is currently riding a six-match win streak in singles.
It Takes Two
Oklahoma State has won the doubles point in nine matches this season, posting an overall record of 18-2 in doubles matches. OSU has won the doubles point in five-consecutive matches, and will look to extend its streak to six on Saturday against Kansas State
