FORT WORTH, Texas – Oklahoma State women's golf wrapped up play Tuesday at the Colonial Country Club, placing seventh.
The Cowgirls combined for a 290-stroke (+10) final round, bringing their weekly total to 865 (+25). Oklahoma State finished 17 strokes behind first-place Stanford and 14 behind runner-up Oregon.
OSU was led by Marta Silchenko, who recorded her third straight top-10 individual finish. A consistent 68-73-72—213 (+3) scorecard earned the junior a share of ninth place.
Ellie Bushnell and Yu-Chu Chen joined Silchenko in the top-20, tying for 19th at 7-over-par. Bushnell's third-round 69 (-1) was the second-lowest Cowgirl round of the week, trailing only Silchenko's first-round 68 (-2).
Grace Kilcrease and Tarapath Panya closed at 13-over. Kilcrease notably carded the tournament's only eagle, scoring a 2 on the Colonial's par-4 ninth hole in the second round on Monday.
Kilcrease heads to Augusta National Golf Club next Wednesday for the Augusta National Women's Amateur (Apr. 1-4), one of the premier women's amateur tournaments in the world.
The Cowgirls return to action in two weeks for the Huntington Bank Collegiate (Apr. 6-7) in Dallas, Texas, for their final regular season event and second of three straight tournaments in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
