The Basics
No. 28 Oklahoma State will look to add to its two-match win streak this weekend as it travels to take on No. 34 Texas Tech on Friday at 4 p.m CT. and Colorado on Sunday at 11:30 a.m CT. The Cowgirls are 2-0 in conference play and coming off their first two home wins of the season against West Virginia and Cincinnati. Oklahoma State is 2-0 on the road this season, including a win over Texas Tech in January, as part of ITA Kickoff Weekend.

In the Rankings
Oklahoma State appeared at No. 28 in this week's ITA team rankings and is one of ten Big 12 teams to be ranked. Arizona State (12), TCU (21), UCF (25), Houston (29), Texas Tech (34), BYU (46), Baylor (47), Utah (51) and Arizona (73) were the other Big 12 teams to make appearances this week. In the individual singles rankings, Rose Marie Nijkamp climbed to No. 22, while Lucia Peyre checked in at No. 51 and Olivia Lincer made an appearance at No. 53. In the doubles poll, Nijkamp and Anastasiya Komar rose to No. 20.
The Matchup
Oklahoma State is 24-15 all time against Texas Tech, after beating the Red Raiders in January. OSU has won six consecutive matches against the Red Raiders, including two wins in the Big 12 tournament. This is the first meeting between OSU and Colorado since 2011, where the Cowgirls won. OSU leads the series 24-9, which began in 1982, with the Cowgirls winning the first 13 matchups.
History in 2024
Oklahoma State women's tennis is coming off a historic campaign in 2025, staking claim to its first Super Regional win since 2017, second-consecutive Big 12 regular season title and third Regional Championship in the last four NCAA tournaments. The Cowgirls won 12 consecutive matches during the season and made their 13th consecutive appearance the NCAA Tournament. Anastasiya Komar and Rose Marie Nijkamp were named ITA All-Americans in doubles after finishing the season top 10 nationally. Nijkamp became the third player in program history to be named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, she was also selected to the All-Big 12 First Team in both singles and doubles along with the All-Big 12 Freshman Team. Komar joined Nijkamp on both All-Big 12 First Teams in singles and doubles.
The NCAA Tournament Streak
With a trip to the Elite Eight last season, Oklahoma State made its 13th straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. During that time, the Cowgirls have reached six Sweet 16's, three Elite 8's and one NCAA final in 2016.
New Faces
Alongside returners Anastasiya Komar, Rose Marie Nijkamp and Melisa Ercan, Oklahoma State has added proven winners and young talent to its lineup for 2026. OSU brought in reigning Big 12 Player of the Year, Olivia Lincer, through the transfer portal, along with freshmen Luca Udvardy. Lincer, an All-Big 12 First Team member in singles and doubles, arrives at OSU after two years each at UCF. Udvardy enters with an impressive resume, winning three singles titles and two doubles titles on the professional tour, while holding a career-best ITF junior ranking of No. 14.
