Four Cowboys Selected For Honors

STILLWATER – Four members of the Oklahoma State men's tennis team, Alessio Basile, Ian Bracks, Derek Pham and Aaron Williams, were recognized as part of the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team this past week.
To receive this honor, student-athletes must be at least sophomores, maintain a 3.5 GPA and appear in the lineup for 75 percent of the team's matches.
The Cowboys' lone graduate, Alessio Basile, finished his season by adding another academic honor to his shelf alongside his title as the 2026 Big 12 Men's Tennis Scholar Athlete of the Year, multiple ITA Scholar Athlete awards, an Academic All-Big 12 Team selection and two previous CSC Academic All-District honors.
Bracks, Pham and Williams had a combined total of 32 singles wins and 22 doubles wins during the 2025-26 season to accompany their academic honors.
The four student-athletes helped Oklahoma State to a 14-win season, including a notable victory over 14th-ranked San Diego at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
