Cowboy Duo Earns Academic All-America Status

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Oklahoma State's Ethan Fang and Eric Lee were honored for their work off the golf course this week with the announcement of the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America at-large teams.
Fang was one of 17 players named to the first team, while Lee was one of 14 student-athletes named a third-team selection. Last month, both standouts were named Academic All-Big 12 picks as well.
A rising senior, Fang carries a 3.75 GPA in university studies. The Plano, Texas native who was named a second-team pick last year, earned honorable mention All-America status this past season for the Cowboys and was also named a first-team All-Big 12 pick.
Fang was victorious in OSU's season opener at the Carmel Cup and would go on to share medalist honors with teammate Preston Stout at the Maridoe Collegiate this past spring.
Lee, a rising senior as well, has a 3.71 GPA in university studies. The Fullerton, Calif., native received honorable mention All-America status this past season and was named a second-team All-Big 12 pick as well.
After opening his junior campaign with a pair of top 10s, Lee would go on to register his first win of the year at the NCAA Marana Regional.
