According to ESPN, Saturday's game marked the first time in FBS history that a team snapped a 10-game losing streak against an AP top-10 opponent.
Oregon had won its previous 41 games played against unranked opponents entering Saturday's contest.
Oklahoma State's 39-31 win over No. 6 Oregon was its seventh-largest margin of victory over an AP top-10 opponent in program history and the largest since a 37-20 win over No. 7 West Virginia in 2016.
No. 6 Oregon was the highest-ranked non-conference opponent hosted by Oklahoma State since No. 2 Arkansas traveled to Stillwater to face the Cowboys in 1978.

Saturday's game marked the second in Oklahoma State history with a 100-yard running back, a 100-yard receiver and a quarterback who passed for 300 yards and rushed for 100 yards.
- The first was in 2018, when Chuba Hubbard (134 rushing), Dillon Stoner (127 receiving) and Taylor Cornelius (338 passing and 106 rushing) accomplished the feat in a win over No. 7 West Virginia at Boone Pickens Stadium.
According to OptaStats, Saturday marked the first time a team had a 300-yard passer and multiple 100-yard rushers in a game against an AP top-10 team since Matt Corral, Snoop Conner and Jerrion Ealy accomplished the feat for Ole Miss against No. 2 Alabama.
- It was the first time a Big 12 team had a 300-yard passer and multiple 100-yard rushers against an AP opponent since Sam Bradford, Chris Brown and DeMarco Murray accomplished the feat for Oklahoma against No. 2 Texas Tech.
Drew Mestemaker finished with 317 passing yards to extend his streak of 200-yard games to 17, the longest active streak in the FBS.
- It was his first 300-yard passing game as a Cowboy and the seventh of his career.
- He added a career-high 109 rushing yards to become the first Oklahoma State quarterback with 300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards in the same game since Spencer Sanders had 371 passing yards and 125 rushing yards against No. 5 Notre Dame in the 2022 Fiesta Bowl.
