Cowgirl Equestrian ranked No. 6 in NCEA preseason poll

STILLWATER —Oklahoma State's Cowgirl Equestrian team will begin the 2026-27 season ranked No. 6 in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association for the dual discipline preseason rankings, as announced Wednesday afternoon.
It's the 12th-straight season the Cowgirls have been ranked inside the preseason top 10. Other Big 12 Conference teams joining the Cowgirls in the poll are TCU coming in at No. 7, Fresno State at No. 8 and Baylor sitting at No. 9.
Led by head coach Larry Sanchez, who has over 200 career wins and earned Big 12 Coach of the Year honors for the sixth time last season, the Cowgirls are coming off an 8-4 campaign in 2025-26, highlighted by a sixth consecutive Big 12 Championship and a fourth-place finish at the NCEA National Championship. OSU finished 4-2 in conference competition and posted a 5-1 record at home.
OSU returns three All-Americans from a year ago in Ava Bush, Bella D'Onofrio and Emma Filiatreau, who was also named Big 12 Reining Rider of the Year. That trio leads a group of Cowgirls who are poised to compete for another national championship as they prepare for the 2026-27 campaign.
