Cowboys return to action at Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State's men's golf travels to the Lone Star State to continue its fall campaign at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab at Colonial Country Club on Monday morning.
The Cowboys join a 16-team field at the par-70, 7,289-yard course. The event's opening 36 holes will be played on Monday, followed by the third and final round on Tuesday. Play begins at 8:15 a.m.
OSU finished fifth in its last outing at the Fighting Illini Invitational. The Pokes have two remaining tournaments in their fall slate following this week's action, starting with the Big 12 Match Play Tournament before concluding the slate at the East Lake Cup.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad last competed at the event in 2023, finishing in 11th place. In his third tournament as a Cowboy, Gaven Lane went 3-under par and tied for 34th place, while then-sophomore John Wild tied for 38th place.
OSU's starting five will consist of seniors Preston Stout, Ethan Fang, Eric Lee and Lane as well as junior Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson.
The winner of this year's event will receive an exemption into the PGA TOUR's Charles Schwab Challenge in 2027.
