Entering his second season as the strength and conditioning coach for the Cowboy golf program is Nick Hoheisel.

Hoheisel has served several programs since arriving in Stillwater in 2010. In addition to the men’s and women’s golf programs, he has worked with the Cowgirl and Cowboy tennis teams since 2010 and 2011, respectively. He also worked with the Cowboy football program from 2010-12 and the women’s basketball team from 2010-23.

For four years, Hoheisel worked in the same capacity at Wichita State prior to his arrival in Stillwater. While on staff at WSU, he worked with the Shocker baseball, volleyball, women's basketball, and men's and women's golf, tennis and track programs. During his time in Wichita, Hoheisel also played a part in the design and renovation of the department's strength and conditioning facility.
Hoheisel spent the 2005-06 campaign on staff at the University of Idaho, serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Vandals' tennis, golf and swimming programs.
A member of the Kansas State football team from 1998-02, Hoheisel received the squad's overachiever award in 1998 and was named the 2002 Bob Cope Memorial Award recipient. In 2000 and 2002, he was named the Kansas State Football Lifter of the Year. He received his undergraduate degree in 2003 from K-State in business administration and international marketing.
Upon graduating from Kansas State, Hoheisel earned his master's degree in athletic administration from Northwest Missouri State in 2005. As a graduate assistant, he worked with the football team, which reached the 2005 NCAA Division II national championship game, as well as the men's and women's basketball programs and the volleyball, soccer and softball squads.
Hoheisel holds a certification in CPR and is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. In the spring of 2020, he was named a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach by the CSCCA. Additionally, he is Titleist Performance Institute level certified and is a United States Weightlifting Federation Level 1 Club Coach.

Hoheisel and his wife, Mayte, have two daughters, Marcella and Isabelle.
