Cowboys Tab Win Over Washington at ITA National Indoors

SEATTLE- Oklahoma State's men's tennis team defeated Washington on Saturday, 4-1, at the Nordstrom Tennis Center at the ITA National Indoors.
The Cowboys got off to a fast start in doubles action as Julian Cash and Luke Hammond bested Kawika Lam and Enzo Sommer of Washington, 6-1.
Soon after, Brady Draheim and Jurence Mendoza would fall on court three, 1-6, to Piers Foley and Mitch Stewart.
Artur Dubinski and Eleftherious Theodorou clinched the doubles point for the Cowboys on court two as the pair defeated Jack Davis and Jake Douglas, 6-2.
The Cowboys lead the Huskies, 1-0 heading into singles action.
Draheim struck first for the Cowboys in singles as he defeated Jack Davis on court six in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2, giving the Cowboys a 2-0 lead.
The next point for the Cowboys would come from Julian Cash on court one. Cash also defeated his opponent, Jake Douglas, in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.
The match-clinching point for the Cowboys would come from Mathieu Scaglia on court three. Scaglia defeated Enzo Sommer, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
Next up, the Cowboys face No. 13 Columbia at the Seattle Tennis Club at 8:30 p.m. CT.
