TULSA, Okla. – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team could not overcome losing the doubles point to Tulsa, falling to the Golden Hurricane, 4-3, Wednesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Tulsa pair of Jarod Hing and Boriss Kamdem defeated No. 22 Mathieu Scaglia and Maxim Tybar, 6-2.

Joshua Goodger and Tom Thelwall-Jones clinched the doubles point for the Golden Hurricane when they defeated Brady Draheim and Matej Vocel, 6-3.

In singles, Kody Pearson quickly gave Tulsa a 2-0 match lead when he defeated OSU freshman Emile Hudd, 6-1, 6-1, on court four.

Luke Hammond proceeded to cut the lead in half when he defeated Stefan Hampe, 7-6, 6-2.

Kamdem responded by beating Draheim, 7-5, 6-4, on court six, bringing the Golden Hurricane within one point of clinching the match at 3-1.

Goodger clinched the match for Tulsa on court two, defeating Tybar 1-6, 6-4, 6-4. Singles were played out and OSU claimed the final two singles matches.

This is the first Tulsa victory in the series since 2016.

The No. 23 Cowboys (11-5, 0-0 Big 12) are back in action Friday with a doubleheader against Charlotte (7-7, 0-0 C-USA) and UMKC (4-6, 0-0 WAC) in Stillwater.
