Cowgirls Kick off Big 12 Play with Kansas, Kansas State

STILLWATER – Cowgirl tennis opens Big 12 play in Stillwater this weekend on Friday when Kansas comes to the Greenwood Tennis Center for the second time this season. The Jayhawks are ranked No. 10 in the country, and OSU comes in at No. 11 this week.

The Pokes defeated Kansas, 4-3, at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend event held in late January, after dropping the doubles point. OSU has won five consecutive matches coming into conference play and looks to make a run at the Big 12 title this year after coming up one place back last season.

OSU closes out the weekend with another top-40 contest against Kansas State. The Wildcats have won seven of their last eight matches, including an upset against SMU.
