Cowgirls Get Season Underway at Martin

The Basics
The fourth-ranked Cowgirl equestrian team looks to start their 2019-20 campaign on a high note as they compete Thursday on the road against the No. 10 UT Martin Skyhawks and the defending champion and top-ranked Auburn Tigers.
About the Cowgirls
The Cowgirls (0-0, 0-0 Big 12) are led by 21st-year head coach Larry Sanchez, first-year assistants Laura Brainard and Olivia Dorey and director of operations Kate Pollard. Caroline Becker is on the staff as a graduate assistant.

• Improve the Cowgirls record against UT Martin to 5-0.
• Give OSU a 4-3 advantage against Auburn at neutral sites.

New Faces
The Cowgirls added nine new riders to the roster for the 2019-20 season. The group will be looking to add to the program's impressive resume. The team is also joined by new assistant coaches Olivia Dorey and Lara Brainard.
