Cowboy Tennis Swept at No. 11 Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team dropped the opener of its five-match road trip to No. 11 Arizona, 4-0, on Friday afternoon at the Robson Tennis Center.
The win moved the Wildcats to 17-4 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 action, while the loss dropped the Cowboys to 7-10 overall and 1-2 in the league.
Arizona jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the match after No. 33 Jay Friend and Eric Padgham defeated No. 58 Alessio Basile and Nicolas Kobelt, 6-2, and Filip Gustafsson and Casper Christensen bested Isaac Becroft and Finn Hopfe, 7-6 (5).
The Wildcats pushed the match to the brink after Alexsander Rozin downed Kobelt, 6-2, 6-4, and No. 89 Zoran Ludoski defeated Derek Pham, 6-3, 6-1. The setback marked the first loss for Pham since February 8.
Arizona clinched the match on court one, with No. 8 Friend taking down No. 87 Becroft, 6-3, 7-5.
Ian Bracks, Ben Stecker and Basile left their matches unfinished.
OSU continues its five-match road trip as it heads to Tempe, Ariz., to face Arizona State on March 30 at 2 p.m.
