Annie Molenhouse sets NCAA-best mark in Heptathlon at Jim Click Shootout in Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. – Oklahoma State outdoor track & field wrapped an impressive multi-meet weekend with yet another NCAA-leading mark at the Jim Click Shootout in Arizona.
Cowboy and Cowgirl multi-event athletes resumed competition at the Jim Click Shootout with Annie Molenhouse surging to a first-place finish in the event thanks to strong performances in the Long Jump, Javelin Throw, and 800 Meters on Saturday.
Remarkably, Molenhouse finished third place or better in all seven events, concluding the weekend with a total of 5,641 points, which is currently the number one mark in the country. Molenhouse joins thrower Emma Robbins as the second Cowgirl this season to claim a NCAA number one spot, following Robbins' collegiate-best mark in the women's Hammer Throw at last week's Texas Relays.
On the men's side, Freshman Cooper Moore turned in a seventh-place performance in the Decathlon, finishing with 6,427 points, good for sixth best in Cowboy history. Moore's weekend was highlighted by an outstanding performance in the 110 Meter Hurdles on Saturday, with his 14.82 mark earning a second place finish in the event. On its own, this time would be tied for tenth place in school history.
