STILLWATER – Oklahoma State's men's tennis team returned to the win column after sweeping Wichita State, 4-0, for its 14th-straight win over the Shockers on Wednesday night at the Greenwood Tennis Center.Â

The win improves the Cowboys to 9-13, while the loss drops the Shockers to 11-11.Â

Ian Bracks clinched the match on court four, defeating Ilias Worthington, 7-5, 6-2, for win No. 11 to join Derek Pham for the team lead.Â

The Cowboys moved to 5-1 when winning the doubles point, after Bracks and Thomas Gadecki defeated Luke Bracks and Kristof Minarik, 6-3, and Nicolas Kobelt and Finn Hopfe took down Vanja Hodzic and Worthington, 6-3.Â

No. 84 Isaac Becroft doubled the lead for the Cowboys with his third-straight win. The captain has not dropped a set during the streak.Â

Alessio Basile picked up his fifth win of the season, taking down Alejandro Jacome, 6-4, 6-3.Â

Ben Stecker left his match unfinished against Bracks while leading 6-4, 5-3, and needing only one point to win the match. Pham and Kobelt left their matches unfinished in third sets.Â

OSU concludes its regular season against No. 18 UCF on Friday at noon at the Greenwood Tennis Center, with senior festivities for Becroft and Francisco Pini to follow. The Cowboys dropped the first meeting with the Knights, 4-0, at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in January.Â
