STILLWATER – Oklahoma State quarterback Drew Mestemaker is a Manning Award Star of the Week after his performance against Colorado, marking the second time this season he has received the honor.
Mestemaker, who also received the honor after OSU's win over Oregon, completed 21-of-36 passes for 386 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions in OSU's 57-24 win over Colorado. It was his sixth straight 300-yard passing game to mark the second-longest streak in school history and the second-longest active streak in the nation. It also extended his FBS-leading streak of consecutive 200-yard passing games to 21.
His passing yards total ranked as the most in the Big 12 this week and was his second-best total this season, just three yards shy of his season high.
Mestemaker's four touchdown passes were thrown to four different players, and he added eight rushing yards to reach 394 yards of total offense.
He now ranks No. 1 in the FBS with 41 passing plays of 20+ yards, No. 2 in passing yards with 2,326, No. 2 in passing yards per game at 332.3 and No. 2 in total offense per game at 353.7.
Season tickets are sold out to Oklahoma State football games this year, but there are still opportunities to get tickets to see the Cowboys in Stillwater. A small number of single-game tickets remain for the November 28 game against Kansas, but the November 15 game against Texas Tech is sold out.
Tickets are available at www.okstate.com/tickets or by contacting the ticket office at 877-ALL-4-OSU. Fans can still secure their tickets to sold out games through SeatGeek, the official secondary partner of OSU Athletics.
