Oklahoma State rises to No. 18 in AP Top 25
October 04, 2026 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER -Â The Oklahoma State football team moved up one spot to No. 18 in the AP Top 25 on Sunday following its bye week.
The Cowboys (3-1) made their season debut in the poll at No. 19 last week after a 41-24 road win over West Virginia. OSU has now appeared in consecutive AP polls for the first time since September 2024.
Oklahoma State is one of five Big 12 teams ranked in this week's AP Top 25, joining BYU (No. 8), Texas Tech (No. 11), Utah (No. 12) and Houston (No. 22).
Oregon, which Oklahoma State defeated 39-31 in Stillwater earlier this season, moved up to No. 13 during its open week. The Ducks have remained ranked since falling to the Cowboys on Sept. 12.
Oklahoma State remains just outside the US LBM Coaches Poll, receiving 187 points to rank first among teams receiving votes for the second consecutive week. The Cowboys gained 61 points from last week's total of 126. Big 12 members BYU, Texas Tech, Utah and Houston are ranked Nos. 8, 9, 12 and 19, respectively, in the coaches poll.
Season tickets are sold out to Oklahoma State football games this year, but there are still opportunities to get tickets to see the Cowboys in Stillwater.
With four home games remaining and the Homecoming matchup against Colorado sold out, a three-game mini-pack is the best way to go to the games with remaining ticket inventory. It provides access to the October 10 game against UCF, the November 15 game against Texas Tech and the November 28 game against Kansas. Single-game tickets can also be purchased to each of those games.
Tickets are available at www.okstate.com/tickets or by contacting the ticket office at 877-ALL-4-OSU. Fans can still secure their tickets to sold out games through SeatGeek, the official secondary partner of OSU Athletics.
