Oklahoma State continues its nine-game homestand this weekend when the Cowboys host Gardner-Webb for a three-game series at O'Brate Stadium.
The Pokes are 9-3 on the season, the second-best record in the Big 12, and riding an eight-game winning streak. OSU is coming off a midweek win over Missouri State.
OSU's winning streak is the fourth-longest of the Josh Holliday head coaching era and the longest for the Cowboys since winning 12 in a row in 2023.
The Holliday-led Pokes won 14-straight games in 2020-21 (last five games of COVID shortened '20 season and first nine of '21) and have posted 12 consecutive wins twice - in 2023 (2/26-3/14) and 2014 (4/26-5/16).
The 2026 season marks OSU's 14th under the direction of Holliday, who is 16 wins shy of 500 for his career.
Gardner-Webb is 9-4 and coming off a loss at Duke on Tuesday.
The Runnin' Bulldogs own a .306 team batting average, while their pitching staff sports a 5.96 ERA.
Jim Chester is in his seventh season as GWU's head coach and has led the Runnin' Bulldogs to a 140-163 record.
OSU's eight-game winning streak is tied for the fifth longest current streak in the nation along with Missouri, Winthrop and UC Santa Barbara. Florida owns the nation's longest current win streak at 13, while USC, Texas and Wake Forest have all won 12 in a row.
