Cowboys Earn Runner-Up Finish At Haskins Award Invite

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 13-under 275 on Sunday during the final round of play at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational to earn a runner-up finish at Forest Hills Golf Club.
The sixth-ranked Cowboys finished with a 39-under 825 tally at the par-72, 7,086-yard layout. North Carolina captured the team title with its 810 total.
For OSU, the runner-up showing was its third of the season and the Cowboys have now finished in the top five in seven of their nine starts on the year.
Individually, UNC's Sihan Sandhu and Georgia Southern's Thomas Horne each finished at 15-under 201 to share medalist honors.
Gaven Lane led the OSU starting five with his third top-10 showing of the year. The junior tied for seventh place at 204 after closing with a 69.
Junior Ethan Fang earned a top 10 of his own, grabbing sole possession of 10th place at 205 after closing with a 69 as well. Fang will remain in Augusta to compete at The Masters this week, gaining entry via his victory at The British Amateur last summer.
Junior Preston Stout tied for 14th place at 207 after closing with a 68, while classmate Eric Lee posted a 69 to finish at 210 and tied for 23rd place.
Sophomore Filip Fahlberg-Johnsson's 75 tied him for 60th place at 219.
