Cowboys Earn Top Seed At NCAA Marana Regional

INDIANAPOLIS – Oklahoma State's men's golf team will serve as the top seed at the NCAA Marana Regional it was revealed today with the announcement of the field for the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships.
The Cowboys, who captured the program's 12th NCAA title last season, are coming off their league-record 13th Big 12 title and fourth win of the season at the Big 12 Championship last week. The other top-five seeds joining OSU at Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Arizona will be LSU, Arizona, Alabama and Duke.
Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 18-20. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams.
The top five teams and lone individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., which is slated to take place from May 29-June 3.
OSU leads the nation with 17 regional titles after its victory last year. The Cowboys have won eight regional titles in 11 tries under the direction of head coach Alan Bratton, including a run of six in a row from 2016-22.
In 2022, Eugenio Chacarra became the most recent Cowboy to secure medalist honors at the event, becoming the 12th OSU champion in the process.
Overall, the Cowboys have qualified for the NCAA Championship in 76 of a possible 78 seasons.
