Cowboy Baseball Collects Academic Accolades

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State was well represented on the Big 12 Conference's list of academic honors for the spring of 2026 as 16 Cowboys were named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team and nine Pokes made the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
Highlighting the lists are Drew Blake, who earned Academic All-Big 12 honors for the fourth time and was nominated with a 4.0 grade point average, and Aidan Meola, who was named Academic All-Big 12 for the second time. Both Zane Burns and Danny Wallace made the All-Rookie Team with 4.0 GPAs.
To earn Academic All-Big 12 status, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 GPA or higher, either cumulative or over the two previous semesters, and must have participated in 20% of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen are not eligible, while transfers in their first year of academic residence are eligible. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.

Student-athletes on the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team must be new, first-time/incoming freshmen who have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial coursework and achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00. The student-athlete must have participated in at least one of their team's scheduled contests and must have been a member of their respective team for their sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
