Cowboy Baseball’s Lund Named To USA Baseball Team

CARY, N.C. – Oklahoma State standout Ethan Lund has been selected for USA Baseball's 2026 Collegiate National Team and will compete at the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship later this month in Taiwan.
A left-handed pitcher who will be a junior for the Cowboys next season, Lund is one of 28 players on the USA Baseball roster. Lund was named to the roster after 11 days of workouts, practices, intrasquad scrimmages and exhibition games at USA Baseball Training Camp.
Lund made a pair of relief appearances in the Stars and Stripes Exhibition Series and went 1-0 with seven strikeouts in five innings of work. He allowed just one run on three hits.
A native of Fishers, Ind., Lund becomes OSU Baseball's 16th player to make a Team USA roster and the fourth under current head coach Josh Holliday, joining Justin Campbell (2021), Gabe Davis (2024) and Nolan Schubart (2024).
The World Collegiate Baseball Championship will feature five days of games, with three days of pool play followed by the semifinals and medal games held at Taichung City Intercontinental Baseball Stadium in Taichung City, Taiwan, from July 11-15.
Lund had a breakout sophomore season for the Cowboys in 2026. He finished second in the NCAA with 137 strikeouts, the eighth highest season total by an OSU pitcher in program history, and also ranked third nationally in strikeouts per nine innings at 14.62. He posted a 5-3 record and 5.34 ERA and worked 84 1/3 innings over 17 appearances.
