Cowgirl Softball earns No. 3 spot in Softball America’s Transfer Class Rankings

STILLWATER – Softball America released its list of the NCAA's top 10 transfer classes on Monday, with Oklahoma State Softball ranked third overall.
Oklahoma State added five transfers this offseason, signing Delainey Everett, Maddie Hartley, Payton Kennedy, Kendra Lewis and Kennedy Proctor.
Everett, a three-year SEC standout in the circle, compiled a 17-4 record, 2.55 ERA and 95 strikeouts over 126.1 innings at Mississippi State. She capped off her time in Starkville with a complete-game shutout against No. 2 Oklahoma on May 24, marking the first time in 399 games that the Sooners were held scoreless.
Hartley, a 2026 second team All-Big 12 selection, batted .303 with a 1.087 OPS in two seasons at Houston. She tallied 25 home runs, 75 RBIs and scored 63 runs while also logging 49 innings of work across 29 career pitching appearances.
Kennedy, Extra Inning Softball's No. 25-ranked prospect in 2025, was limited to three appearances in her freshman season at Ole Miss. She was named to Softball America's Freshman Watch List in 2026 and logged a 6.00 ERA over seven innings of work.
Lewis, a 2025 All-American and first team All-Big Ten honoree, excelled as both a hitter and a pitcher in two seasons at Wisconsin. In the batter's box, she hit .364 with a 1.005 OPS and 73 RBIs. The Milan, Illinois, native added 42 appearances in the circle, pitching to an 8-7 record and 5.33 ERA in 93.1 innings of work.
Proctor, a 2025 D1 Softball first team Freshman All-American, emerged as one of the Big 12 Conference's elite catchers through her first two seasons at Utah. In 295 at-bats as a Ute, she posted a .329 batting average and 1.053 OPS, as well as 20 home runs, 23 doubles and 69 RBIs.
Oklahoma State is one of four Big 12 teams in the top 10, joining Texas Tech (1), Arizona (8) and Arizona State (10).
