STILLWATER – Oklahoma State took down Grambling State, 6-1, Sunday at Neal Patterson Stadium.

With the win, the Cowgirls improved to 2-2-1, while the Lady Tigers fell to 1-2-1.

Five OSU players scored in the contest, led by Jada Moorman, who netted a pair of goals. The Cowgirls outshot the visitors 30-2 and recorded all seven corner kicks in the match.

Sonora DeFini started the scoring in the 11^th minute. Emmy Hedden delivered a cross into the box that Gracie Bindbeutel touched to the endline before sending a pass back to DeFini, who buried the shot for her second goal of the season.

A foul in the box on GSU set Addy Lang up for a penalty kick in the 21^st minute, and she sent her attempt past the goalie for her first goal in an OSU uniform and a 2-0 lead for the Cowgirls.

Three minutes later, the Lady Tigers responded with their own penalty kick, and Nyla Dore-Anderson got the ball past Logan Marks to put GSU on the board.

Play continued for less than two minutes before Sophie Wilson crossed the ball into the box to Laudan Wilson, who converted her first goal of the season for a 3-1 advantage.

Moorman came on the field for the Cowgirls 30 minutes into the game, and eight minutes, she later found the back of the net off a pass from Emma Jensen.

Moorman struck again in the final minute of the half off another assist from Jensen, sending the game to halftime at 5-1 for OSU. It marked the first time since the 2023 season that the Cowgirls scored five goals in a half, that coming Aug. 27 in the second half against Little Rock.

The Cowgirls held their lead in the second half, and Jensen scored the final goal of the game in the 73^rd minute assisted by Bella Pierotti and Emily Senatore.

OSU returns to action Thursday when the Cowgirls host San Diego State at 7 p.m. at Neal Patterson Stadium.
