Ended the year with a 21-10 record and three saves to go with a 1.81 ERA in 209.0 innings pitched with 238 strikeouts ... Set single-season career-bests in ERA, wins, strikeouts and opponents’ batting average (.201) ... Her 238 strikeouts finished 10th in the country and ninth on OSU’s single-season list ... At Washington (2023-24): One of the hardest throwers in college softball … Played a major role in leading Washington to the 2023 Women’s College World Series ... A 2023 NFCA third team All-American and two-time NFCA first team all-region honoree ... Went 27-17 with a 2.31 ERA and 343 strikeouts in 303.2 innings pitched across 76 appearances ... Had eight saves ... Two-time first-team All-Pac-12 in addition to being named to the 2023 All-Pac-12 Freshman Team ... A 2023 NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete ... Opened her sophomore campaign by allowing only three earned runs in her first 42.1 innings pitched, securing Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week honors on Feb. 19 after posting a 0.70 ERA and striking out 13 batters across 10.0 innings pitched against Wisconsin and No. 18 Kentucky ... Twirled a one-hit, complete-game shutout and tied a career-high with 12 strikeouts against Yale on Feb. 24 ... Tossed a career-high 8.2 innings of shutout ball and struck out 10 against Oregon State on March 30 ... Earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors on Feb. 27 after back-to-back complete-game shutouts with 21 strikeouts in 13.0 IP ... Followed that with a three-hit, 12-strikeout complete game victory against Boise State on March 3 ... Went 2-0 with a save in 17.0 innings pitched in the 2023 NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals to give Washington a berth in the 2023 Women’s College World Series ... Made appearances in all three of Washington’s WCWS contests as she pitched 10.2 innings and tallied five strikeouts.
High School: A highly touted prospect out of Skutt Catholic High School who was ranked No. 14 in the Extra Innings Softball Extra Elite 100 ... A four-year letterwinner in softball under coach Keith Engelkamp as she led her school to four conference championships and two state championships... Named a Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year after she went 17-0 in her senior season with a 0.41 ERA, struck out 180 batters in 86.0 IP and batted .537 with 18 home runs and 44 RBI while leading her team to a perfect 33-0 season and a state championship ... Earned first team All-Conference and All-State honors in addition to being named to the Super State team and the 2022 MaxPreps Nebraska Player of the Year ... Played club ball for the Nebraska Gold for five years under coach Beth Singleton, where she won a PGF National Championship and was named to a PGF All-American ... Collected Academic All-Conference and Academic All-State recognition for her work in the classroom.
Personal: Daughter of Wayne and Heidi Meylan ... Has two brothers, Wyatt and Colt ... Her dad played football at Nebraska and Wyoming ... Her grandfather, Wayne, was a two-time All-American middle guard at Nebraska and played in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings ...
